Podcasts We’ve Been Loving
We. Love. Podcasts. They’re the perfect thing to put on when you’re going for a walk, commuting to work (though there has been less of this in 2020), going for a drive, when you’re cleaning the house, and more! And like always, we love to share our loves with you. And so, here’s a list of podcasts we’ve been absolutely loving!
P.S there might be a little more girl power podcasts but since our team is made up of predominantly girls, it only seemed fitting.
Tom Bilyeu: Impact Theory
If you’re someone who loves a stimulating conversation, this one’s for you.
Hosted by Quest Nutrition co-founder Tom Bilyeu, Impact Theory is a weekly interview show that explores the mindsets of the world’s highest achievers to learn their secrets to success. It is designed to give people the tools and knowledge they need to unlock their potential and impact the world.
Want something to challenge you? Need some motivation? Impact Theory is your podcast. The episodes range from 20 mins to 2 hours, so break it up if you need to. But trust us, you don’t want to miss out.
Jay Shetty: On Purpose
“Think like a monk” if you’ve ever heard of this phrase, you may have heard of Jay Shetty.
Jay Shetty’s On Purpose Podcast touches on all sorts of topics that will challenge you and get you thinking. His guests are some of the most insightful people in the world including Matthew McConaughey, Tom Bilyeu, Anna Akana, Lily Collins, and the list goes on! From topics such as love, work, self & service, Jay explains things in ways that are easy to understand and process.
If you want to make a start of getting to know yourself better or simply wanting to be better, Jay is your man!
Hosted by Michelle and Zara, Shameless talks about anything and everything.
“Created by smart people that talk about dumb stuff”, Michelle and Zara do a refreshing wrap of the top pop-culture and celebrity news on Mondays. On Thursdays, they’ll sit down with an influential person for an interview (we thoroughly enjoyed the episode with Florence Givens by the way). Finally, on the last Saturday of each month, they’ll sit down for the Shameless Book Club where they unpack a critically- acclaimed fiction book.
It is the perfect podcast to put on when you go for a walk or a drive. They’re funny but they also raise valid arguments. Don’t believe us? Listen for yourself!

But girls can also be good savers (if we know how). Bobo and Flex
Bobo and Flex are on a quest to decolonize our minds, intersect our feminism, but most importantly, give us all the tools necessary to stay away from problematic boys!
They are two brilliant women who make you think about your own opinions, why you might’ve formed them (either on your own or whether you’ve subconsciously absorbed things other people think without thinking critically about it). They have interesting discussions, especially as big digital media consumer, where a lot of what we consume is actually talking about the same things and all we’re trying to do is appease to what is the “right” opinion to have – when in fact, opinions are totally personal and we don’t have to agree to get along.
Touching on different topics such as minority representation, relationships, feminism, cancel culture, and morality topics in general, they will become your new best friends!
The best part? You can listen to all of these podcasts via Spotify! So, what are you waiting for? Check them out now!
